Return Policy

Please read this return policy carefully before making a purchase. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined below.

Inspecting Your Item

Before accepting delivery, inspect your item for any internal and external damages. Do not accept a damaged item. Notify us immediately by calling 718-938-8605. After signing for and accepting your item, you are responsible for all damage claims.

Reporting Damages

If your item was shipped via UPS, report any damages by calling 800-PICK-UPS with your tracking number.

Defective Items

- If your item is defective upon arrival, contact our customer service within 24 hours of receipt.
- If your item is defective after first use, contact the manufacturer directly using the contact information provided in the product literature.

Returns

In the event of a return, you must contact customer service to receive a return authorization. We will not accept any returns without a return authorization from the manufacturer.

Return Eligibility

D&S Home Appliances does not accept returns for:

- Items that have been installed, used, or plugged in
- Air conditioners
- Special order merchandise and accessories
- Commercial laundry equipment
- Items that have been moved from their original delivery location

Product Research and Returns

Before making a purchase, please conduct thorough research to ensure the product meets your needs. This includes:

- Verifying the product's dimensions to ensure it fits in the desired space
- Confirming that the product can be safely delivered through all entrances and passageways
- Ensuring the product meets your expectations in terms of features, functionality, and performance

If you receive an item that does not meet your expectations:

- If the box has been opened, the product cannot be returned.
- If the box is still closed, you may return the item, but a restocking fee of 35% or the cost of shipping, whichever is greater, may apply.

Warranty Information

Please note that:

- If a residential appliance is installed in a commercial location, the warranty is void.
- Once the unit is brought out of the continental United States, the manufacturer warranty is void.
- D&S Home Appliances follows the manufacturer's warranty policies.

Order Cancellation

To cancel an order prior to shipment:

- If the order has not yet shipped, we will cancel the order and provide a full refund without any additional charges.
- If the order is already in transit, you will be responsible for the shipping cost.

Missing or Damaged Parts

Missing or damaged parts may be eligible for free replacement by the manufacturer under the standard warranty. Contact the manufacturer directly to order any missing parts.

Return Procedure

To return an item:

1. Contact our customer service to receive a return authorization.
2. Ship the item back to our warehouse prepaid, using the original method of shipment.
3. Use a freight carrier to ensure safe return, if applicable.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed as soon as we receive the returned item. Refunds will be issued in the original payment method.
